ALLOW MYSELF TO INTRODUCE MYSELF

I’m Jane-Marie Fajardo

I've spent a lot of my life feeling like I was a little different. For a long time, I thought that meant there was something wrong with me.

I tried to fit in. I tried to make sense of myself through other people's expectations. I questioned the parts of myself that didn't seem to fit neatly into the world around me, and like a lot of people, I spent a surprising amount of time looking outside of myself for answers.

Eventually, I realized something pretty important:

Maybe I wasn't lost. Maybe I had just spent too much time trying to become someone I wasn't.

My path has been anything but straightforward, and honestly, I think that's part of what makes me who I am. I was born and raised in San Diego, and some of my earliest adventures involved backpacking through the Sierra Nevadas and spending as much time in the mountains as possible. Later, I had the opportunity to guide ten-day wilderness trips for kids ages 10 to 17 and coach water polo.

I've always been curious about people, the world around me, and the many different ways there are to live a life.

That curiosity led me to earn my B.S. in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. My career eventually took me abroad, where I was lucky enough to spend nearly two years living and working internationally, including working as an urban designer in Singapore.

Living abroad changed the way I saw the world. Experiencing different cultures and realizing there isn't just one way to live, think, or see life gave me a perspective that has stayed with me ever since. Eventually, I returned to San Diego and worked as an Environmental Planner.

And then I became a mom, which has probably taught me more about myself than just about anything else. Advocating for my son has pushed me to ask hard questions, navigate systems I never expected to have to understand, and keep showing up when things get complicated and exhausting. It's also reinforced something I've learned over and over again in my life: sometimes you have to trust yourself enough to keep asking questions when everyone else seems perfectly comfortable with the answers they've given you.

So yes, my background might seem a little unexpected for someone who now works in Reiki, hypnotherapy, and intuitive healing.

But to me, it actually makes perfect sense.

I've always been interested in looking beneath the surface, asking questions, and trying to understand how things fit together.

Somewhere along the way, that curiosity led me deeper into spirituality, intuition, and healing.

In 2009, while living in Singapore, I discovered Reiki Tummo. That experience opened a door I didn't even realize I had been looking for. Over the years, I explored different healing modalities, became a Certified Hypnotherapist, and eventually found my way to Usui Reiki.

Later, I discovered Holy Fire Reiki, and something just clicked.

Over the years, I've trained in Holy Fire Reiki, including Karuna Reiki, Kid Reiki, and Animal Reiki, as well as hypnotherapy and intuitive energy healing. Each experience has shaped the way I work today.

But I don't believe healing is about finding one magical thing that's suddenly going to fix everything.

That's just not how life works.

I believe healing starts with getting curious. Getting curious about yourself. Paying attention to the patterns that keep showing up. Questioning some of the stories you've been told about who you're supposed to be.

And sometimes asking:

“Okay... what the hell can I learn from this?”

I've also been through things that changed me in ways I never would have chosen. Over time, some of what I've survived has become part of my strength. Not because I'm grateful those things happened, but because they taught me how to look deeper, ask better questions, and sit with people in the messy, complicated, sometimes completely confusing parts of being human.

That's what I bring to Transformative Healings.

I work with women who are curious about themselves and their lives, especially those who feel like there's something happening beneath the surface that they can't quite explain. Women who are open to exploring spirituality and intuition but don't want to check their critical thinking at the door. Women who have done some of the work already but know there's still more to explore. Women who are questioning old beliefs, navigating change, feeling stuck, or simply trying to figure out what comes next.

I believe you can be spiritual and grounded.

Intuitive and skeptical.

Interested in the weird stuff without abandoning your common sense. And you don't have to pretend to have your shit together to explore any of it. You don't have to show up with all the answers.

You just have to be willing to get curious.

And if you're looking for someone who is comfortable exploring the meaningful, the messy, the weird, and the things that don't always have easy explanations...

You're probably in the right place.
